An 8-Week Journey Back to You
Midlife can leave you feeling like you’re navigating a version of yourself you don’t quite recognise. Your body may be changing, your energy and sleep may feel different, your relationship with food or exercise may have shifted, and the demands of life can leave very little time to focus on yourself.
The Nurture Initiative is an intimate 8-week small group coaching programme designed to help you step back, understand what is happening and reconnect with yourself.
Over eight weeks, you’ll be supported by expert guidance and a small group of women who understand the challenges of this stage of life. Together, we’ll explore the foundations of wellbeing — including nutrition, movement, sleep, hormones, emotional wellbeing, confidence and identity — helping you make realistic changes that fit into your life.
A space to focus on you
This isn’t about following another restrictive plan or trying to become a different version of yourself. It’s about understanding what you need and finding practical, sustainable ways to support your health and wellbeing.
Each week provides the opportunity to reflect, learn and make small changes, building on what came before. You’ll have the space to ask questions, share experiences and receive personalised guidance, while benefiting from the encouragement and understanding of a small group of women going through similar experiences.
What you’ll explore
Across the eight weeks, we’ll explore:
Nutrition & nourishment — understanding what your body needs during midlife and creating a more supportive relationship with food.
Hormones & changing bodies — making sense of the physical changes that can occur through perimenopause and menopause.
Movement & strength — finding enjoyable and realistic ways to move, build strength and support your long-term health.
Sleep & energy — understanding the factors that influence sleep, fatigue and energy, and identifying ways to support them.
Emotional wellbeing — creating space to understand how you’re feeling and develop strategies to support your emotional health.
Body image, confidence & identity — reconnecting with yourself beyond how your body looks and exploring who you are in this next chapter.
Habits & sustainable change — moving away from all-or-nothing thinking and creating habits that can genuinely become part of everyday life.
More than eight weeks
The aim isn't to give you another list of things to do. It is to give you the knowledge, tools and confidence to make choices that support you long after the programme has finished.
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your changing body, a clearer sense of what you need and practical strategies to continue nurturing your health and wellbeing.
Your next chapter starts here
You spend so much of your life looking after everyone else. Now it’s time to make space for you.
If you’re ready to understand your changing body, prioritise your wellbeing and feel more like yourself again, The Nurture Initiative is your opportunity to begin.
Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the group small, personal and supportive.
Join the next 8-week programme and make yourself a priority.
Our Process
The Nurture Initiative is designed to create a small, supportive community of women who are navigating similar experiences and want to make positive, sustainable changes to their health and wellbeing.
Over the eight weeks, you’ll have a dedicated group chat where you can share your goals, weekly plans, progress and wins. It’s a space for encouragement, motivation and accountability — helping you stay connected to the changes you’re making between sessions.
Your weekly sessions
Each week, we’ll come together online for a one-hour group coaching session via zoom. Every session will focus on a different aspect of midlife health and wellbeing.
We’ll begin with an accessible, evidence-based educational session exploring the topic of the week, followed by practical discussion around how you can apply this knowledge to your own life. Where appropriate, we’ll also invite expert clinicians and practitioners from different areas of healthcare and wellbeing to lead selected sessions, bringing their specialist knowledge and experience directly to the group.
The focus throughout is on practical, evidence-based strategies that can be woven into your daily and weekly routines - rather than adding another list of things to do.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Questions can be submitted ahead of the session or asked during the live session, allowing us to make the content as relevant and useful as possible.
The second part of each session will focus on coaching and planning for the week ahead. You’ll be given a simple planning resource to help you identify your priorities, set achievable goals and reflect on what is working for you. Over the eight weeks, these weekly plans will build into a longer-term roadmap for your health and wellbeing.
Your personal starting point
Before the group programme begins (week 1), you’ll have a 45-minute one-to-one session with Alexia.
This gives you dedicated time to explore what you would like to achieve over the eight weeks, understand your individual priorities and create a personalised baseline plan to work from. We’ll also consider any specific needs, challenges or areas of focus that may be important to achieving your goals.
Where appropriate, and with your consent, Alexia can also write to your GP following this initial consultation if there are areas that may benefit from further medical review or investigation.
A community that continues beyond the session
The group is an important part of the experience. You won’t be making changes on your own.
The group chat and weekly sessions provide a place to celebrate your wins, share challenges, ask questions and stay accountable. You’ll be surrounded by women who are also making time for themselves and working towards their own wellbeing goals.
The aim is not perfection. It’s progress — supported by expert guidance, specialist insight, a community around you and a plan that grows with you.
